Preview DBSK’s 26th Japanese Single – “Survivor”

::EDIT:: Added longer version!

Credit: flyLuvUknow84 @ youtube

THIS IS THE BRICKWALL SONG LOLOL. They didn’t keep the “I’m talking to a brickwall” line, unfortunately :(. And it’s probably just me but I hear Jae singing “Oooh spine” XD.

I do agree with one of the youtube comments in that “Stand Up” should have been their 26th single instead of this ^^;;. As awesome as this song is, it cracks me up so bad I don’t think I can take it seriously XDDD.

  1. Pretty sure its “smile” HAHAAH FAIL

  2. LMAO! no beckery, i think it sounds like “spine” xDD

  3. I think this song was meant for Changmin! he sounds good…eww I just scream biased…oh well, I actually really like this song, even on my first listen, I’m anticipating the lyrics now, maybe they’ll say “I’m talking to a brickwall” in jap…lol doubts though, I do hear spine and smile too, I hear Changmin say “monkey” and “we can” lol

  4. wow sounds so similar to brickwall. haha this is jap right? well it sounds neato and im looking forward to the whole song :D

  5. beckery
    ITS SPINE!

    xueqir
    Woohoo! *hi5*!

    nataly
Haha bias-ism is approved when towards Changmin ;))))

    betty
    Yep this is Jap ^__^

  6. It sounds like techno infused New Kids. Um…I don’t like it. BUT, everything DBSK does is worth a 2nd listen and a 3rd, so I’ll give it a fair chance.

“Spine! Spine!” is definitely not helping. Changmin sounds great though.^^

  7. YOU KNOW WHAT I AGREE WITH BEC. IT’S DEFINITELY SMILE. I DON’T HEAR A “P” SOUND. BUT THEN YOU CAN ACTUALLY NEVER TELL WITH JAE LOL :D

But I agree with nataly, this song was MADE for Changmin. Jae…. not so much. WHY IS THERE NO PART FOR JUNSU THOUGH D: Oh well, time to show my Japanese boyband loving (yes she’s supporting KAT-TUN) friend and gloat about DBSK’s brilliance.

You know what I was just reminded of … Changmin’s “Flying Ducks” XDDD

    Kristen
Yes, let’s just shift the blame onto Jae. LOL well this isn’t the whole song XDD.

  9. I don’t know what to say… o.O it sounds ok but… I am confused? Like the title is called survivor so I was expecting something all emotional… but I got something happy? well I think it’s happy?

    0:19-0:27 !! o.O like, what? the beats sound like a game…

Maybe when the whole thing is out I will like this song more =)

  10. maybe i’m hearing it wrong or there’s a japanese phrase that sounds like it, but at :37 doesn’t it sound like changmin’s saying “brick wall”? they should have kept “damn damn it’s like talking to a brick wall” in because that would have sounded hilarious with their kongrishness =]]]]]

btw…i’m in LOVE with the english version of it and just randomly bust out dancing during class (or band rehearsal, if we’re talking about tonight >.>)..idk if i’ll be able to get used to hearing japanese instead of english =P

  11. I am big fan of dbsk, but after hearing both ver, i like the english version better, it sounds more smooth than jap ver! DBSK Hwaiting!

  12. i’m still waiting for junsu’s part…jae’s delivery is too soft and not edgy enough……

  13. Abdul
Oh, really? You got that impression? I expected something upbeat like this ^^.

    AMShakeIt
I guess that happens when there are songs in different languages; you tend to like the one you first heard.

    clayvier
Yeah and because the eng one had such awesome lyrics XD

    lovie
Hmm I think it’ll be better once the full song (in HQ) is released :).

  14. it’s a really good song! probably my fave even if its a preview XP

    • Lol it’s a nice song but probably would never be a favourite for me :/

  15. i love the chorus, sounds like jae, i just love it, i replayed it like several times on the short preview (:

    • The chorus is the best part haha

  16. ^^ yes the song is really really good, I’m happy people are starting to feel more positive about this song!

    • I need to watch the MV lol XD
